Dominique and Kelvin wanted a romantic wedding, above all else. They selected Eagles Landing Country Club for the big day because of the beautiful grounds (and, of course, it’s convenience).
The color palette was soft. The details thoughtful. And family was a central focus for them.
As Dominique walked down the aisle in the lace dressed that she had dreamed of since she was a child, Kelvin was visibly stricken (and smitten) with his bride.
They had incredibly touching vows and readings, which they sealed with an excited kiss before heading off to take photos.
The reception was designed with the couple’s wishes in mind- lots of candlelight, lush florals, pretty, yet neutral colors and yummy food with a sweet finish from both the wedding & groom’s cake!
Dominique shared her favorite moment from the wedding day with us, and we may have shed a happy tear remembering it ourselves: “For me, it was seeing the emotion on his face as I walked down the hall. Kelvin is so unemotional and to [see] him get choked up, meant more to me than anything else that day. That moment made me the whole day special for me…I saw just how deep his love for me was and the happiness he was experiencing on our wedding day. When I asked Kelvin about his favorite part, his response was the whole day. He felt like the whole day just felt right and he was happy to be marrying his best friend. Nothing else mattered more than the happiness that we, as a couple, were experiencing… solidifying our love for one another.”
“I will stay with you as each morning brings sunrise
And the flowers bloom in springtime
On my love you can rely
And I’ll stay with you”
Congratulations again, Mr & Mrs. Knight!
Advice from the bride:
“Breathe! It will all come together as it should be. Don’t stress the small stuff and trust your planner if you have one. My wonderful planner, Jillian Smith, gave me the same advice and she was absolutely right. I wish I could have a couple of those moments back to enjoy more and stress less.”
“Working with a wedding planner was a lifesaver for me. As a bride who has pictured her wedding day since birth, I had a million ideas. Having Jillian helped me to incorporate those ideas into our day realistically. She was a buffer between me and my emotions and also between anyone who stood to ruin our day in any way. I do not think I could have gotten through the planning process and definitely not that day without her. SHE is a huge reason our wedding is still being talked about.”
