I took 4 days off and we are still standing... There’s a notion that we as entrepreneurs have to be ON all the time to stay in business. I’ve experienced severe burnout in both my corporate history and my own business life. I used to think “I’ll sleep when I’m dead” was something to brag about when building OTE. Cringe much?! 🥴 Burnout sucks something serious. It’s depressing. It’s debilitating. It can be the literal difference between life and death if you don’t put your health first. So I took days off this week and guess what... ❔Did you notice a beat missed?

❔An inquiry left on read?
❔A phone call left unreturned? No. That’s the strength of a solid TEAM and PROCESSES that keep our small business engine going and going. @onetouchevents_val has been holding down the phones, emails, caring for our clients and leading consultations for her upcoming events. >>Meanwhile, I attempted skiing. 🎿 @_matayahill had been working on rehearsal dinners, site selection RFPs and Basecamp management. >>Then, I had a massage. 💆🏽‍♀️ The point of this post.
